Cornhole Trophy

Designing the trophy for the Home Depot 2022 College Gameday Cornhole Championship was another highlight project during my time at Octagon. Similar to my previous experience with the Peachtree Road Race trophy, this task involved a collaborative effort with the creative team to brainstorm and pitch unique trophy designs. The aim was to capture the essence of the event and Home Depot’s brand, blending them into a symbol of victory for the championship.

My design, among several pitched to the client, was selected for the championship trophy. This time, the challenge was to embody the competitive spirit and camaraderie of the cornhole game, a beloved tailgate pastime, into the trophy’s design. The process was as engaging as it was creative, requiring a thoughtful approach to how the trophy would not only represent the event but also stand as a memorable piece for the winners.
