Mastercard: New York City Marathon

For the New York City Marathon, Mastercard sought to create a standout sponsored section along the track, complete with custom branding and a host of features designed to enhance the spectator experience. This project required a detailed and comprehensive approach to design, as it involved not just the physical layout but also the visual impact of branding throughout the space.

My task was to bring Mastercard's vision to life in a pre-visualized 3D environment. This included constructing the entire spectator section in 3D, from the custom-branded seating to the stage, signs, tables, railings, and additional elements that would define the space. The goal was to create a cohesive and branded environment that resonated with the Mastercard identity while providing functionality and comfort for the marathon spectators.

By building the space and all its components in 3D, I was able to offer the client a clear and immersive view of what the sponsored section would look like. This visualization process was crucial for ensuring that every aspect of the design met Mastercard's expectations and aligned with the overall atmosphere of the New York City Marathon. It allowed for adjustments and refinements to be made before any physical construction began, ensuring a seamless and effective realization of the project on the day of the event. This approach to design and visualization underscores the importance of meticulous planning and client collaboration in bringing large-scale event concepts to fruition.
