Carnival
From the release "Technoir" by Jewel Pod
Sticking to the song’s dark, carnival-inspired imagery, I set out to conjure a truly evil, terrifying, and chaotic midway. The eerie, period-era styling and gritty black-and-white visuals are the direct result of AI wizardry—something I would've never been able to fully capture using traditional methods.

Technical Notes
The "Carnival" video was generated in January 2025 using OpenAI's Sora. It was created using a customized "Film Noir" preset which defined the black and white look and time-period as well as the film artifacts such as perforations and film stock labels.
All images were created at 480p for speed and efficiency, then edited in Adobe Premiere, with all graphics made using Adobe After Effects. Once the edit and graphics were locked, the images were upscaled to 720p using custom processes (unsharp mask, grain, etc.).
